Apprentice Program

 

Apprentices will:

     Be enrolled in a formal 4-yr paid training program (Academics and  Trade Theory)

     Earn an Associate of Applied Science degree

     Receive on-the-job trade training

Eligibility:

     United States citizen

     18 years of age by January 15, 2011

     High School diploma or GED

     Pass a physical examination

     Obtain and maintain a security clearance

     Males must be registered with the Selective Service

     Pass the ASSET Test

Development Plan:

     Develop skills to perform professional work

     Acquire a working knowledge of methods and techniques to solve engineering problems

     Receive formal instruction and on-the-job training

Eligibility:

     United States citizen

     Pass a physical examination

     Obtain and maintain a security clearance

     Professional engineering degree or combination of college level education and experience
